The short version
PrepPal sets no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking cookies. There are no analytics SDKs, no pixels, no ad networks. That’s why you don’t get a cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to under the ePrivacy rules beyond what is strictly necessary to run the service you asked for.
What PrepPal does use is your browser’s local storage, and quite a lot of it. That’s deliberate: keeping your progress on your device instead of our servers means we never see it.
A note on fonts
PrepPal uses Barlow, Open Sans and Roboto Slab. They are downloaded and bundled at build time and served from our own domain — your browser never contacts Google’s font servers, so no IP address is shared with them.
Strictly necessary
These make the service work at all. They can’t be turned off without breaking sign-in.

Clearing it
- Browser: clear site data for preppal.ie in your browser settings. This signs you out and wipes every streak and every bit of progress above.
- iOS app: delete the app.
- Neither of these deletes your account. For that, use Your data & privacy.
Because it’s all local, there is no “restore my streak” button we could build. Losing it is the price of us not holding it.
